A House for Becoming
Becoming House began with a simple belief: none of us are finished. We are always learning, unlearning, healing, questioning, creating, and becoming.
What started as a desire to tell meaningful stories grew into something larger: a creative space where faith and real life could meet honestly. A place where difficult questions didn't have to be avoided. Where creativity could open conversations. Where people could examine what they've been taught, encounter truth for themselves, and make room for God to continue His work in their lives.
That's why we call it Becoming House.
A house isn't built for one story or one person.
It has different rooms, different voices, and different ways to gather. Ours happens through books, theater, music, biblical resources, media, and shared experiences.
The form may change, but the purpose remains the same: To create stories and experiences that help people become.
We don't believe becoming means having everything figured out. It means being willing to grow. To look again. To heal. To learn. To extend grace. To follow truth wherever it leads.
There is always more becoming to do. And there's room in the house for you.

Tinakka Johnson
Pastor. Writer. Producer. Creative Storyteller.
Tinakka Johnson is the founder of Becoming House, a faith-based creative studio born from her belief that transformation often begins when we're willing to look again.
Through writing, theater, biblical teaching, and creative experiences, Tinakka creates space for honest questions about faith, identity, healing, relationships, and the stories that shape what we believe.
Her work often begins with a simple question: What if there's another way to see this?
That question has shaped her books, stage productions, teaching, and the vision behind Becoming House.
For Tinakka, creativity is more than making something beautiful. It's a way to start conversations, challenge assumptions, make room for grace, and help people keep becoming.
